About Fountains

Fountains elicit a response similar to viewing ocean waves or sitting beside a mountain stream. The movement of water over granite brings the stone alive, creating a soothing, contemplative atmosphere.
We design and carve fountains ranging from traditional Japanese to monolithic contemporary. In addition to our collection of granite fountain designs, many of our stone basins can be used with a bamboo spout or can be drilled to become running fountains as well.
We have 20 years experience with stone fountains and are happy to share our knowledge. Please call us to discuss choosing, receiving and installing your Stone Forest granite fountain. Description: The Alpine Basin can be used as a garden planter or as a fountain feature.
The planter version of the Alpine Basin (#P08 WH) is drilled with two small holes for drainage.
The basin version (#P08 NH) has no holes to be used as shown in the image, or with a bamboo spout (80 gph pump) as a recirculating water feature.
The fountain version (#P08 FH) is drilled with a single center hole to accommodate tubing to serve as a bubbling fountain (300 gph pump).
